Description

Must Have

  • 10+ years of high speed sewing machine rebuild experience
  • Technical Mastery - Able to follow work instructions and standards to tear down and rebuild complex sewing machine machinery.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and solve sewing defects.
  • Ability to coach and train others to defined centerlines and settings

Nice To Have

Experienced mechanical sewing machine rebuilder to:

  • Assist with tear down and rebuilding of high speed sewing machines used in the production process,
  • Assist with setting up equipment to centerline and assessing set up of equipment on the production lines,
  • Assist with all mechanical aspects of parts and equipment associated with the sewing machines (Alignment, torque tests, tensions, guards in place, free moving parts),
  • Assist with training and qualifications of new sewing resources learning how to rebuild sewing machines, Assist with standard updates and improvements as needed,
  • Ability to trouble shoot sewing machines in productions for sources of defects and centerline outages, Full understanding of LOTO (Lockout / Tagout) requirements and working around energized equipment. Strong mechanical aptitude and/or experience.
  • 10+ years experience

Job Description

Experienced maintenance planner or other relative experience to:

  • Assist with doing all the initial IQ / OQ checks to ensure that equipment is installed as required and all devices are installed in the proper orientation,
  • Assist with checking all mechanical aspects of the equipment (Alignment, torque tests, guards in place, free moving parts),
  • Assist with developing and documenting centerlines,
  • Assist with developing AM / PM Plans and documentation (Maintenance Plans),
  • Assist with developing CIL's, Assist with developing re-build instructions for equipment, Full understanding of LOTO (Lockout / Tagout) requirements and working around energized equipment,
  • Understanding of production, packaging and conveying systems.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and/ or engineering degree/experience.

 

Job Type I (Level 1) = 0-2 years experience

 Job Type II (Level 2) = 3-5 years experience

Job Type III (Level 3) = 5-10 years experience

Job Type IV (Level 4) = 10+ years experience

Job Type V (Level 5) = 20+ years experience
