- Working with Pfizer’s dynamic engineering team, you will play a critical part in managing the maintenance and reliability engineering activities involving the redesign, maintenance, and repair of utilities systems, buildings, and production/non-production equipment.

- Instrumentation Technician III is a skilled craftsperson who installs, calibrates, repairs, and maintains a wide variety of instrumentation, control, and automation systems in a GMP environment. This includes devices used to measure, record, and control various process parameters in pharmaceutical settings. This role often involves leading and training other technicians, as well as managing projects.
How You Will Achieve It
- Installation and Calibration: Calibrate, adjust instruments and equipment to ensure proper operation.
- Installation and Maintenance: Installs, configures, maintains, and repairs a variety of instrumentation, electronic equipment, control systems, and automation systems.
- Troubleshooting: Identifying and resolving technical issues with instrumentation and control systems.
- Documentation: Document all work activities in CCMS and relevant equipment logs.
- Collaboration: Work with production management/staff, engineers, other technicians, for work related activities or issues.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety regulations and procedures.
- CI: Lead and/or participate in continuous improvement activities.
- Interactions: Position routinely interacts with colleagues in manufacturing, engineering, utilities, maintenance, technical operations, MS&T and Quality.
Here Is What You Need (Minimum Requirements)
- HS diploma with 6 years of relevant experience
- Knowledge of industry practices and standards.
- Knowledge of computer systems, mathematics and Microsoft Applications.
- Well-developed time management and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills and work ethics.
- Strong knowledge of instrumentation systems, protocols, and standards.
Bonus Points If You Have (Preferred Requirements)
- AAS degree in electrical, electronics, instrumentation or industrial technology
- Experience working with instrumentation and calibrations in a GxP environment.
Physical / Mental requirements
- Position requirements are typical for a manufacturing plant-based work environment with significant shop floor exposure. Routine lifting, sitting, standing, walking and bending is required.
- Specific PPE requirements, including clean room gowning, is frequently required.
Non-Standard work schedule, travel or environment requirements
- Schedule is a mixture of day shift (M-F, 8 hrs) and rotating 12-hour shifts that include night and weekend work.
- Alternative work schedules may be required to support specific project-related activities
