Rangam is seeking candidates for a Direct Hire role as a Facility/HVAC Technician II with our client Pfizer, one of the world’s largest pharmaceutical companies. Seeking candidates in Rocky Mount,NC  or willing to relocate.

What You Will Achieve

In this role, you will:

  • Oversee maintenance and reliability engineering tasks, including the redesign, upkeep, and repair of utility systems, buildings, and equipment.
  • Take responsibility for individual contributions to achieve team deliverables, working effectively as a team member and coordinating with others.
  • Manage personal time and professional development, being accountable for results.
  • Follow standard procedures to complete tasks of varying scope, sequence, and complexity within the agreed timeframe.
  • Identify and solve moderately routine problems.
  • Complete assignments with moderate supervision using established procedures, referring deviations from standard procedures to the supervisor.
  • Ensure work is reviewed for accuracy, quality, and adherence to standards.
  • Participate in multi-craft work activities, assist with plant audits, be involved in safety committee activities, and follow all Environmental, Health, and Safety requirements and protocols.
  • Track repair history of process support systems and equipment, lead or participate in continuous improvement activities, and make recommendations regarding improved machine performance.

 

Here Is What You Need (Minimum Requirements)

  • High School Diploma or GED with 2+ years of relevant experience  
  • Proficiency in computer usage
  • Solid understanding of basic technical or functional disciplines
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong teamwork and collaboration skills

Bonus Points If You Have (Preferred Requirements)

  • Background in Biopharma
  • Specific Trade Certifications/Background: HVAC, Pipe Fitting/Welding, Electrical, Controls
  • Familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practices
  • Solid understanding of Food and Drug Administration PSM
  • Experience with continuous improvement activities
  • Ability to read and interpret detailed blueprints and schematics
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
 PHYSICAL/MENTAL REQUIREMENTS

Job requires: Lifting (up to 75 lbs.), sitting, standing, walking, bending, ability to climb stairs & ladders, ability to perform equipment troubleshooting/repairs.


NON-STANDARD WORK SCHEDULE, TRAVEL OR ENVIRONMENT REQUIREMENTS

Ability to complete Aseptic gowning training, ability to work 12-hour shifts, ability to work in industrial environments including hot/cold temperatures.


Work Location Assignment: On Premise
The salary for this position ranges from $28,76 to $47,93 per hour. In addition, this position offers eligibility for overtime, weekend, holiday and other pay premiums depending on the work schedule and the Company’s policies.
