Description
Job Description (Required):
- Seeking a highly motivated scientist with experience in liquid-handling automation to establish binding and functional assays to support hit-to-lead discovery of large molecule therapeutics.
- The candidate will play a critical role in the design and execution of biochemical and of cell-based functional assays and high-throughput screening to support the biologics portfolio.
- The candidate will be responsible for the design and execution of experiments using a variety of detection technologies that may include HTRF, ELISA/DELFIA, FACS, and cell-based functional assays focused on signaling, proliferation, or cytotoxicity. In addition, the candidate will analyze data, present results at internal meetings, and closely collaborate with project team members to develop strategies and identify lead molecules.

Required Skills:
- Assay Design/Validation and Data QC
- Excellent cell culture experience, ability to maintain multiple lines in parallel
- High Throughput Screening including use of automation including Beckman I series.
- Experience with assay technologies including ELISA, FACS, cell-based reporter assays, AlphaLISA and cytotoxicity.
- Familiar with analysis programs such as GeneData Screener and GraphPad Prism, and LIMS programs such as GeneData Biologics.
What is the minimum education experience required?:
- Bachelor’s +5yrs or Master’s +3yrs of experience
