Description

SHIFT: 1st shift, 7am - 3:30pm

WORKSITE: Londonderry, NH (100% onsite only)

DURATION: Initially three months, with the potential for converting to a FTE based on business need, budget approval and performance.

Required education: High school graduate or equivalent.

 

Position Overview:

The role is involving tasks like filling hoppers with empty vials, labeling products, and maintaining cleanliness. Basic computer skills are required for training purposes.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Manufacturing experience (1-2 years).
  • High school diploma or GED is required.
  • Candidates with bachelor's or master's degrees are often overqualified and tend not to stay long-term.
  • Prefers candidates with manufacturing experience but is open to hiring recent high school graduates.
  • Experience in similar bottling operations (e.g., Coca-Cola, Pepsi) is beneficial.
  • The position is temp-to-hire, with a 90-day contract before potential full-time employment. 

 

Summary of Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Monitor functions of equipment and operate per documented procedures including maintaining operational logbooks
  • Provide technicians with symptoms of equipment failures, when required
  • Support material handling as necessary
  • Maintain segregation of materials and lot and or receiving numbers
  • Maintain area in a clean and orderly condition
  • Adhere to and demonstrate compliance to all company and department standard operating procedures including but not limited to: GMP, device history record, hazard communication and safety rules
  • Utilize written procedures and training to accomplish tasks noted above
  • Accept full accountability for product quality
  • Report to supervisor or management unsolved problems encountered during the workday
  • Maintain complete and accurate records of work-in-process, component inventories and relative documentation
  • Under the direction of the Manufacturing Supervisor, the Machine Operator will ensure the smooth operation of the manufacturing equipment according to established specifications, and standard operating procedures and work instructions.
  • An operator must demonstrate steady progress in learning all equipment and jobs in the assigned manufacturing area.
  • He and or she must also exhibit the ability to follow instructions of supervisor while observing the quality of raw and finished goods before, during and after production.

OTHER INFORMATION:

  • Candidate must be able to stand to package and label product.
  • Ensure the smooth operation of the production line. Candidate will not be responsible to run or operate the production line.
  • Support material handling as necessary. Does not required use of forklift or power jack.
  • Lifting/moving and carrying products weighing up to 20 pounds
  • Candidate supporting a closed production line. No physical contact with hazardous materials or chemicals.
  • Safety glasses, hair nets and gloves provided. Candidate must provide steel or composite shoes/boots.
  • Must be able to adhere to shift start times and with excellent attendance and punctuality.
