Description

Summary

We are looking for an Resource Coordinator with strong experience scheduling technicians in the contracting industry (mechanical, electrical, fire alarm, HVAC controls, etc.). This role involves coordinating daily service requests, dispatching technicians, and ensuring smooth communication with customers and project teams in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Schedule and dispatch technicians for service and project work
Coordinate with Project Managers, Supervisors, and Parts/Procurement teams to ensure resources are ready
Respond to emergency service requests and customer inquiries
Prepare and manage work orders in the system
Maintain accurate project documentation and forward to administrators
Monitor job progress, address concerns, and ensure customer satisfaction
Generate and review reports as needed

What We’re Looking For

Must-have: Experience scheduling technicians for contractors (mechanical, electrical, fire alarm, controls, HVAC, etc.)
Not applicable: Transportation dispatch (fleet, taxi, AAA) or 911 dispatch backgrounds
Strong communication and multitasking skills
Ability to thrive in a busy, high-volume environment with frequent changes
Proficiency with Microsoft Office; knowledge of HVAC/temperature controls a plus
Valid driver’s license (occasional field visits)

Education & Experience

Technical school certificate OR 3+ years of related experience/training
