  • Looking someone with proofreading experience not a creative role.
  • Not looking for editors or writers
  • Have a document in front of them and another document next to that, comparing it making sure it aligns.
  • expert in grammar, spelling
  • Must have attention to detail
  • someone who enjoys catching errors
  • Documents are medical device, instructions for use, labels, product specifications. Symbols algin with ISO standards (FDA) is a bonus.
  • This is not a Technical Writer role at all.
  • Ok with college graduates if that is what they studied and has some exigence.
  • High School only would need extensive Proof-reading experience.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Able to work with a team and independent be able to.
  • Able to juggle priorities easily.



This is not a Technical Writer or Editor position.

  • Proofreader will be responsible for proofreading labeling components at various stages of development.
  • Proofreads and approves labeling change control documentation and associated specifications.
  • Reviews labeling for consistency and accuracy. Communicates and coordinates labeling changes with cross-functional groups.
  • Must be able to rearrange priorities on short notice to react to customer needs.
  • Labeling and documentation for new products or revisions must be completed accurately and on time.
  • Quality of the product is directly linked to the accuracy of the associated documentation.
  • Documentation associated with the labeling change control process must meet Quality, Regulatory and GMP requirements.
  • Must be proficient with English language and grammar.
  • Must be able to proofread documents for hours at a time.
  • Requires a minimum of one to two years experience proofreading documentation.
  • Must have the ability to problem solve, manage projects, influence internal and external groups and provide leadership.
  • Knowledge of proofreading style guides is preferred.
  • Strong organizational and human relations skills to deal with various levels of individuals and functional areas within the division is required.
  • Must have the ability to collaborate effectively within a diverse team setting, contribute to shared goals through clear communication, mutual respect, and a commitment to collective success. Previous experience working within a change control system is helpful.
