Description

Rangam is seeking candidates for a Direct Hire role as a Digital Rotational Program - Associate  with our client Pfizer, one of the world’s largest pharmaceutical companies. Seeking candidates in Cambridge, MA or willing to relocate.

Digital Rotational Program  

  • The Digital Rotational Program is designed for early career digital professionals who are actively seeking a generalist-related technical program. Over the course of 2 years, we will work together to identify and plan your Digital career path focused on a well-rounded, diverse experience.
  • Rotational Associates will rotate through various technical and client/customer-facing roles every 6 months, enhancing your current skills and building new ones.
  • As an accelerated leadership development program, you can develop in-demand technical skills and the soft skills you need to succeed at Pfizer and impact the global Pfizer patient experience.

  • Rotational assignments are project-based roles and are made available based on organizational need, location, and the colleagues’ skills and development plan.
  • Rotational colleagues are encouraged pursue roles that are more technical and/or general in nature to build a variety of skills and knowledge. Below are descriptions and examples of the types of roles you may have throughout your time in the program:

 

  

How You Will Achieve It

 

Technical Roles

  • Technically oriented roles focus on developing skills such as Software Engineering, Technical Architecture, Information Security and Data Analytics.
  • Our teams use cutting edge next generation technologies and analytics to develop systems, algorithms, and services which provide pharmaceutical therapies that improve patients’ lives.
  • In a technical role you can develop and/or enhance your skills in Java, JavaScript, Python, Copilot, AWS, PowerBI, and Tableau – for example. Roles within this area are suitable for candidates with a strong STEM background.

 

  Under direct oversight, some sample technical roles have included:    

  • Create applications and services using languages such as Java, C#, JavaScript, PHP, and Python
  • Contribute to projects implementing cloud-based solutions in platforms like AWS, utilizing tools such as S3, Lambda, and Redshift, among others.
  • Learn various software development methodologies, such as agile and waterfall, and how software projects are progressed from idea through design and implementation and on through deployment and support.
  • Help move Pfizer's digital and "data-first" strategy forward by working on projects centered around the creation of data lakes, the application of new, sophisticated search techniques (such as Elasticsearch, et al), and advanced analytics.
  • Perform advanced analytics and visualization techniques combining computer science and data science skills and capabilities using tools such as Spotfire, Tableau, Splunk, Power BI

  

 General Roles

 

The general roles focus on developing skills to interface with clients and deliver value in IT projects and initiatives. These are most suitable for candidates pursuing Business Management, Finance, Supply Chain, Life Sciences, Communications, and other non-technical degrees.

 

Under direct oversight, some sample general roles have included: 

  • Engage with the customer to define their journey, touchpoints, and digital experience.
  • Gather, analyze, document, and communicate business and technical requirements.
  • Perform Business process mapping and analysis.
  • Oversee and manage the rollout and support of technology solutions.
  • Communicate updates and key milestones.
  • Track project or department financials.  

  

Rotational roles are available across various Global Digital organizations such as AI, Product Management, Cloud Solutions, Global Supply, Digital Health & Medicines, Research & Development, Information Security, and more. 

 

 

 

Qualifications 

Education and experience 

  • Must have successfully completed Pfizer Futures Internship in 2025 with high recommendation
  • Must have graduated by Spring 2026 
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering (i.e. – Chemical, Biomedical), Bioinformatics, Information Security, Data Science and Analytics, Business Management, Liberal Arts, Supply Chain, or equivalent degree preferred.
  • Minimum GPA 3.0
  • No more than 2 years post-graduate full-time continuous work experience in a business/corporate environment

 

Work Authorization 

  • Must be immediately authorized to work in the U.S. on a permanent or indefinitely renewable duration without Pfizer’s sponsorship.

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $58,500.00 to $97,500.00.* In addition, this position is eligible for participation in Pfizer’s Global Performance Plan with a bonus target of 7.5% of the base salary.
