Position Overview:

Actual Job Title: Adobe Target & Lead AEM Authoring Consultant

Location: Jersey City, NJ

Work Schedule-One day in the office per week.

Work Schedule hours are from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Duration: Five-month assignment with the possibility of extension or conversion to full-time.

Overview

  • The Digital Team at client Investments is looking for a seasoned professional to drive Adobe Target personalization and head up AEM content operations.
  • In this hybrid role, you’ll apply hands-on expertise in AEM web authoring, digital asset management, and Adobe Target configuration to boost our digital marketing effectiveness.
  • You will report directly to the Director of Web Experience and Optimization and be instrumental in delivering seamless authoring workflows and data-driven personalization.

Core Responsibilities

Adobe Target Support & Personalization Execution

  • Configure, administer, and operate Adobe Target for A/B tests, multivariate tests, and dynamic personalization.
  • Build, deploy, and maintain test experiences across our digital channels.
  • Partner with UX, content, analytics, and tech teams to design and configure optimized, testable experiences.
  • Manage the Adobe Target request queue—oversee current, planned, and backlog items.
  • Track test performance, analyze results, and share actionable insights with marketing stakeholders.
  • Recommend enhancements to Adobe Target, AEM, and Analytics setups to improve segmentation and delivery.

AEM Authoring & Web Content Management

  • Act as the primary AEM authoring expert, providing real-time support to content teams.
  • Own and enforce and document tagging and authoring standards, performing quality reviews before publishing and enforcing those standards with other authors.
  • Oversee and provide guidance to nearshore and offshore authoring resources to ensure consistency with AEM best practices.
  • Create, edit, QA, optimize, and publish pages using AEM components and the established design system.
  • Translate wireframes, mockups, and brand guidelines into responsive, accessible, and SEO-friendly web pages.

Digital Asset Management (DAM)

  • Organize assets in AEM DAM with accurate tagging, metadata, naming conventions, and folder structures.
  • Contribute to DAM taxonomy to improve asset discoverability, organization, and reuse.

Skills & Qualifications

Required

  • 5+ years working with Adobe Target and Adobe Analytics.
  • Deep, hands-on expertise in AEM Sites and AEM DAM content authoring.
  • Proven experience with A/B and multivariate testing, personalization, and optimization strategies.
  • Solid proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Familiarity with tag management systems, data layers, and audience segmentation tools.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and project-coordination skills.
  • Experience using JIRA, Wrike, or similar project/task management platforms.
