Description
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and innovative Electrical Engineer III to play a critical role in the design, development, and support of high-voltage electrical systems and industrial control panels. This position will be responsible for finalizing Bills of Materials (BOMs), programming Siemens PLCs, designing complex wiring layouts with relays and fuses, and supporting field service operations involving high-voltage compression systems and control panels.
The ideal candidate will combine strong hands-on electrical design skills with solid experience in system integration, safety compliance, and data-driven control logic programming.
Key Responsibilities:

Finalize and maintain Bills of Materials (BOMs) for electrical systems and projects.

Design and implement PLC-to-control wiring diagrams using relays, fuses, and appropriate industrial standards.

Program Siemens PLCs, focusing on logic development, data handling, and system integration.

Provide field support for high-voltage compression systems and control panels, including diagnostics and on-site troubleshooting.

Simulate and test the operation of machines, control systems, and structures for functionality and compliance.

Evaluate and compare vendor and competitor products to ensure optimal design and material selection.

Ensure electrical systems meet reliability, cost-efficiency, and safety standards.

Generate detailed engineering drawings, schematics, and calculations for construction and installation.

Estimate time, resources, and costs associated with engineering projects.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams including manufacturing, service, and project management to ensure successful execution.
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field is required.

5 to 7 years of relevant experience in electrical engineering, preferably in industrial or manufacturing environments.

Strong background in high-voltage systems, control panel design, and electrical safety.

Proficiency with Siemens PLC programming and logic control systems.

Experienced in using engineering design software (e.g., AutoCAD Electrical, EPLAN, or equivalent).

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Knowledge of electrical codes, safety regulations, and industry best practices.
Preferred Skills:

Experience with field service and supporting customer-facing troubleshooting.

Familiarity with compressor technology, electromechanical systems, and automation components.

Prior experience with data-logic integration for industrial systems.
